Software
Apple released the iOS 5 alongside the iPhone 4S. The new
operating system has 200 new features, but the most talked about feature, and
one that’s exclusive to the iPhone 4S, is Siri.
With Siri, Apple are aiming to create an AI that will fully
understand human commands, regardless of how you'd like to say them. For example,
when asking for the weather, you could just say “Should I wear a raincoat
today?” instead of “What’s the weather like today?” The following video will
give you a better idea of what I’m talking about.

I’ll admit, it’s not perfect, there are a few bugs here and there
that need ironing out, but this is the closest we’ve reached yet to having an
intelligent artificial assistant. And I can’t say I don’t love it.
This is one feature that you’ll need to play around with yourself
in order to fully understand it, but it’s amazing how accurately Siri
understands you even when your commands are long and confusing.
The operating system overall is much faster thanks to the A5 chip.
As I mentioned earlier, webpages load lightening fast, so do applications.
Conclusion
Sure, it’s not an iPhone 5, but it’s an iPhone 4S. And it really is what it is,
the best update you can offer for a phone that is still amazing even a year
after its release. Siri, camera, A5 chip all are good reasons to upgrade from
the iPhone 4 but exceptional reasons to upgrade from any older models. If you
look at the iPhone 4S for what it is, you’ll truly appreciate this amazing
device.
